Hi! My name is Bria and I am the founder of Abide and Obey. I create Christ-centered casual wear that combines comfort, quality, and purpose.
As a Christian entrepreneur, this journey has been a life changing lesson but also very rewarding. Back in 2023 I worked my last payroll job and ever since I’ve been relying completely on God to guide me. When He put the idea of starting a clothing brand in my heart I had no idea how I would make it happen since I had no experience designing clothes or creating a website. But I decided to start working on the brand doing things the way I thought they should be done instead of seeking God’s guidance on how He wanted it done.
After three failed attempts to launch a faith-based brand I convinced myself that God surely must not have called me to do this so I decided to give up and go back to the comfort of a real job. Unfortunately for me every 60-plus applications I submitted were denied and every door I tried to open remained closed. I realized then that I had no choice but to follow the calling God had placed on my life.
When I finally decided to fully obey and do it God’s way He gave me the name Abide and Obey a reminder that when I depend 100% on Him I will bear fruit (sales, customers, and success). When I listen and obey what God says and what God wants it is then that I will see the harvest.
